I weaseled my way into the backend of my poor, poor site, www.minkett.com & updated the dns servers. Changes should be evident in one to two days.
Jason is out getting more info on what type of computer we can scrounge up for my workstation & I'm home fiddling. Last night, we went to a new restaurant on Capital Hill & then took in some Turkish coffee after wandering the streets.
Streets, I should mention, that were littered with fancy folks. Many shades of J.Lo & White Stripe'd types slinked by us as they readied themselves for the Seattle nightlife. Anticipation was palpable, until we actually turned onto Broadway. Once on that main drag, folks were extremely sketchy & the vibe of anticipation turned to desperation. ug.
Once we had our coffee treat, we wandered over to the formerly full Broadway Market - a mall that used to, kind of, make sense. There was a new store so ludicrous, that curiosity got the better of me. It was a "Magical store" housed where the Gap used to be. We walked in as a couple were oggling a plastic model of a tatooist giving a naked woman some lower back art. There were more models, more explicit and larger than the first, which was about 2 foot square in size. We walked through the grateful dead shirts, endless hankie silk tops in black and dark greens and alongside the shadow books for witches who are just starting out.
We ended the evening with a stroll off of the main drag - watching the moon dodge clouds & shine audaciously, as a full moon in Aries should.
